San Diego in July - the weather, the atmosphere, and THE event for more than 16,000 teachers, technology coordinators, library media specialists, teacher educators, administrators, policy makers, industry representatives, and students. All of these from around the world will gather for the 27th annual National Educational Computing Conference from July 5 to 7. Whew -- this is a lot of school leaders in one place.

For many, this will be the first chance to see PASeries Writing and PASeries Algebra I, new this year for grades 6-12.

The Lexile National Reading Conference

PASeries and the Lexile National Reading Conference work together like a comfortable pair of shoes. The Lexile scientific measurement scale in PASeries ties reading test scores to a wide range of other assessment instruments and instructional materials.

PASeries will be featured at the Conference in a session on Tuesday, June 20 on "Staying on Target: Advancing Student Achievement With Formative Assessments and Lexiles." The session is being presented by PASeries' Chris Shira and Richard D. Wiley of the San Marcos Consolidated Independent School District in Texas.
