Teacher and Family resources to help students achieve

New to PASeries, and available for teachers and families, our interpretive guides provide guidance for further understanding of PASeries reports and links to helpful resources. These resources aid in pin-pointing instruction for remediation both at home and in the classroom. The single-page guides include helpful visuals and a glossary to aid understanding commonly used assessment terms.

The guides benefit teachers new to PASeries by providing important information to aid in understanding the PASeries Student and Classroom History and Forecast Reports and the Item Analysis Reports.

The family guide explains each item on a report in easy to understand language and includes links to Web resources. The family interpretive guide aids parents and guardians in understanding their student’s assessment results. Links to additional resources are available to help students who may benefit from additional practice and instruction.

Best in show

Today, we released the news that PASeries has received "Technology & Learning" magazine’s 2006 Award of Excellence.

PASeries Algebra I has been recognized as ground-breaking and "best-of-breed." Algebra I for grades 6-12 is one of first formative assessments that adopts the Quantile Framework available for end-of-course testing.

The 24-year-old recognition program honors innovative applications that break new ground in some important way and best-of-breed examples that demonstrate clear superiority over similar products in the market. This year’s 55 winners were chosen by more than 35 educator-judges who evaluated the entries. The winning products will be featured in the December 2006 issue of the magazine.
